The RRFC program has been very helpful to me as far as understanding all the functional areas of production. I specialized in Cinematography, so my mentor did a great job of helping me understand the proper lighting techniques, and what it takes to effectively tell a story with all the different camera and lighting techniques. I feel more confident today with my understanding of all the various processes and stages of production, thanks to the RFC program.

My experience at film connection was amazing! I got to work on set on a movie production, meet different actors and actresses, and work a variety of different areas in the industry. Having master classes with Kevin Sharply was the best and helped me learn so much more about editing as well as the film industry as a whole. My experience has been great and I have learned so much and plan to keep on learning more.

Film Connection has left me with very valuable skills and connections within the industry. Getting to work as a PA on real shoots gave me vital knowledge on how film actually works. The curriculum goes in-depth about the ins and outs of film and my mentor is there to teach everything else. It’s a great experience and one I hope to share with others that wish to pursue film. I was given a screenwriting mentor who has been helping me every step of the way with my very own feature film script. FC Is hard to beat in terms of cost, and what you get out of the program.

Film Connection has been a great experience for me with incredible staff and teachers/mentors. Everyone is very knowledgeable and willing to help you. The teachers/mentors are very experienced in what they do, so you are guaranteed to get superb quality of education and guidance that you can use towards whatever future you desire in film.

First of all let me start by saying Awesome! Awesome…and did I say Awesome. Being in this program has literally changed my life and level of knowledge,relationships, and access in the industry. I cant not thank my mentors enough, as each and every one of them have been instrumental in my education, hands-on learning, and the future planning for the next phase in the film industry. I am already in talks to partner with all of my mentors on projects, and production works. The Film Connection is a priceless resource that i wished i had discovered 20-30 years ago. Since being in the program, i have worked on 3 feature film projects and have film credits as a result. Can you say “mind-blowing” . I have experienced so much being on different sets and spending time one-on-one with mentor Xander Tennent (Producer); Elliot Campos(Academic mentor); and Richard Lasser (Hollywood Screenwriter). These mentors are all priceless in teaching, and the process while my time has been spent in the Film Connection. I have written several short films and a feature film since being in the program, and it helps to mention that I am currently casting for my first short film. The depth of knowledge learned while in the program has been spot on, and i recommend for others to become and sponge as well and engage the material with relentless pursuit. The ebook and hands on learning will be enhanced when you own the education and be very curious about all aspects. The hands-on process beats any classroom lectures by actually doing. In the hierarchy of learning many students might be better suited by audible. or seeing visual elements, but when you add kinesthetic (hands-on) learning as well, students retain 90% of the content. I have made several referrals to other potential students and hope to offer myself as a mentor in the future. While i could go on and on about the Film Connection, I will tell anyone. I took the film production and editing program. Your experience may vary depending on the mentors in your area you are assigned. Luckily I had a good film mentor and a great writing mentor. They do a great job and giving you hands-on experience as soon as possible. You will get from the school whatever you put in, so if you are motivated and can bring plenty of ideas, you’re going to be kept busy at all times.

My experience with RRFC has been a spectacular experience. Even though the pandemic has put a hold on a lot of things, my Mentor and Academic Facilitator made sure I stayed on top of answering questions I had.

Working with a Mentor 1 on 1 is a great advantage, because I got to experience some behind the scenes moments. And my mentor Patrick Wimp is awesome. No matter how crazy my questions were, he showed respect and answered all of them with tips.

Honestly, best decision I've ever made! Film Connection is affordable and hands-on training. The assignments are very clear and easy to follow. I enjoyed my experience with my mentor and my academic facilitator. My mentor is very professional and made sure I get the best learning experience that I need. He is the best! If you ever want to go to the film school, this is the place for you to go to!

I looked into it and saw it was a great program. Also, the price of the program was very convenient compared to other schools.

My experience with film connection has been filled with life changing lessons within every chapter you can feel yourself closer to something greater! This feeling doesn?t come without hard days and long nights but you realize in that moment that this is what the industry and your DREAM requires, the program is simply the reflection of the underlying question that not only Hollywood wants to know but what you need ask yourself constantly throughout, will you sink? Or will you swim?
